Narrabri NSW July 12, 2015

It rained and blew all night. The whole place is covered in a thick layer of rotting leaves, which naturally enough have built up into a pile on the steps and inside the van.  We kept delaying the inevitable but finally relented about 930, we got up, packed up and got out on the road in the cold, drizzly rain. The conditions persisted well up past Coonabarabran, the temperature dropped from 6 to 4 but by the time we reached Narrabri had climbed all the way up to a balmy 12. We have pulled into Narrabri for the night, picking a van park. This one is old and past it’s prime, but will be comfortable enough for the evening.
